Too rich to be helped.
During a sermon recently, the priest stated that no one is too rich to receive help and no one is too poor to share.
My coaching mind just locked onto that and Limiting Beliefs came to mind.
✔Limiting Beliefs – Thoughts or opinions that you have about yourself, others and the world, that tend to hold you back from moving forward.
In some instances you believe that your assistance or time is not needed because the person before you seems to have it all. Then one day, you learn that that very individual is battling mental illness. You are broken, because you believed that there was nothing they needed.
The reverse is no different. You believe that a poor home, by your standards, does not have enough to share. So when you visit, you politely decline any offer to partake lest you rob them of the one meal that they have. You are then so humbled (more of flabbergasted…) to be given a LIVE chicken to take home, or tray of eggs for that matter.
In both cases it was all in your mind, beliefs and opinions that need to be challenged, questioned, unlearned.
✨Scenario One:
They are wealthy, educated, blessed, talented/gifted, fit…..what help could they possibly need?
✨Scenario Two:
They have nothing to share for they themselves need to receive.
In both scenarios the words below come to mind:
?A listening ear
?Understanding
?Compassion
?Company
?Love
?Empathy
MIND SET
It is amazing how our minds can create a perception and stick to it until it becomes a ‘reality’
We all need help and we all have something to share. It is a mindset, and applies to both the receiver and the giver.
Start changing your narrative, one thought at a time. Do this everyday and see the subtle changes that happen in your life.
