Just Enough…
This past week I heard the phrase #justenough during my dearly departed Mother’s wake. We were looking at her illness journey and marveling at how the finances were always JUST ENOUGH to cover the bills. This was true every time. In fact she always said that she had JUST ENOUGH. She lived by this principle. It got me thinking about how we live and run our lives, and I drew a parallel to the #wheeloflife and the important parts of our lives that make up this wheel.
Question?
Are you #contented and #grateful with what you have? You see my take is that everything in moderation is good, it only rears its ugly head when we do not take a moment to #celebrate in #gratitude, and instead forge ahead with a sense of entitlement, inflicting harm to #SELF and others along the way.
Isn’t it true that:
*A cup of tea needs JUST ENOUGH hot water?
*A seed needs JUST ENOUGH rain to germinate?
*A child thrives on JUST ENOUGH love?
So today take, moment to appreciate JUST ENOUGH. And in my case I take a moment to honour my mother: – Mrs Rose Elmina Makumbi – ,for a life well lived to 85 years, with JUST ENOUGH grace and mercies that blessed her.
Rest in peace until we meet again Mummy.
I love you.
