Aligning with your Focus

Part Two

Creating your area of focus involves identifying your current and your desired state.  It is a process of being totally honest with your current state.

Determining what our Purpose is in life can be one of the hardest questions that we as humans must try to answer. The Wheel of Life is a well-known tool that helps this process. It initially helped me with organizing my thoughts and the important things in my life.  It was in this process that I was able to start getting clarity.  I have since redefined my important areas by incorporating my values, and in turn my personal statement.

I am aligning myself with my Purpose.

My action of identifying and choosing the important areas of my life acted as a communication line to my subconscious mind. It was as though I was proclaiming my desires to that part of my mind.

I am of the belief that once the subconscious mind gets to know your desires it is going to do anything to manifest them in your life. Ever thought of something and suddenly you start seeing it, hearing it, smelling it or feeling it every time?  I am reminded of the time when I wanted to trade in my car for a red one.  And suddenly there were red cars everywhere.

This is not to say that they were never there in the first place, it is just that I was now ready to see them. My focus now includes red cars.

Mapping your path to your Purpose requires one to begin implementing daily changes and then concrete actions to be truly in alignment.

If you discover that you enjoy helping those in need, start to look for opportunities to volunteer in your community.

The choices you make in your life become your goal. And, if you are sincere in pursuing them, there is no reason why you should not accomplish them.
