The Nelsons in our lives

It is said that there is a time and a season for everything.

I for one can vouch that people come into your life for a reason and for a season.

His name is Nelson.

My world had turned upside down and I was free falling fast…VERY fast.  I was not in control and for those who know me, AND my meticulous planning obsession, understand that indeed the sky had fallen on my head.

Things were changing so fast in my life, I was experiencing loss at a level I never knew possible and I just withdrew from society.

With my head deeply buried in the sand:

??I had some semblance of control

??I did not have to answer to society’s expectations

??Things were on my terms

??I became an illusion to my friends

Nelson was a fixer. I called and he came. We chatted as he fixed.

He imparted wisdom✔, he was patient✔, he asked after me with genuine concern✔, he prayed for me✔.

?He boosted my morale and was my number one fan.

Truly God had sent me an angel in the form of Nelson.

He came to me at the worst time in my life, and only left when I could lift my head out of the sand.

He came for a #reason and for a #season.
